Are PBCPR classes approved by the American Heart Association?
Yes and No. We offer AHA and HSI courses.
If you purchase BLS, ACLS or PALS, these are AHA (American Heart Association) courses.
If you purchase CPR/AED/First Aid, these are HSI (Health & Safety Institute) courses, an OSHA preferred certification.
Why does PBCPR only offer Hybrid classes for AHA?
We have been proud AHA Instructors for over 25 years. Recent changes have lengthened class times with longer videos. We have chosen to have students watch the videos at home, at their convenience, rather than in the classroom for 3-6 hours. This allows our instructors to offer Skills Sessions that save time while ensuring Hands-On practice to meet your needs. Group classes are available by request - send an email to CPRinfo@PBCPR.com
What is Hybrid and Skills Session?
All courses have the Hybrid option. This means you complete the Videos and/or Test Online at your own pace; then attend a Skills Session for the Hands-On Skills portion. We offer Skills Sessions as scheduled.
Hybrid courses are approved by AHA and OSHA/MSHA.
You receive the SAME card as the full CLASSROOM course without the need for videos in the classroom!
Can Foster Parents and College Students take an Online Hybrid course?
YES!! It's a great option for busy people! Watch the videos at home and then attend a Hands-On Skills Session. SAME card as the classroom course. And you have access to the online videos for 2 years for easy refreshers on your schedule.

Do we offer group classes?
Yes! We offer specific classes in your office, facility, or church. We ask for at least 10 people in each group class. Email us for information.
We will invoice your Accounts Payable for group payment.
Fewer people? Email us for options for Hybrid courses with group Skills Sessions. Email us for information and links.
We will invoice your Accounts Payable for group payment.
CPR/AED/First Aid classes may be available at our affiliate locations. Check the schedule here.
